Our ‘Premium Clock Collection’ comprises of higher-end grandfather clocks that have had a full overhaul & restoration both aesthetically and internally with the inside movement being restored & returned to it’s original condition. The movements of these clocks have been completely disassembled and cleaned by a professional clock restorer. All wheels will have had teeth re-aligned and shaped, pinions and arbors will have been bushed where necessary, pivots will have been repaired if eroded, and the pallet faces re-angled for exact drop and depth. 8-day clocks will have been fitted with new lines. This is then combined with a full restoration of the outer clock casing. Our very own ‘Grandfather Clock; Maintenance & Care’ guide is included with every purchase. Some of our ‘Premium Collection’ Clocks are showcased at the Grade II listed ‘Dovecliff Hall Hotel’ in Staffordshire.

We offer free delivery and set-up on all grandfather clocks within a 25 mile radius of Abbots Bromley, WS153DE. Further travel will be charged according to distance.

Please note: If a concours clock isn’t what you're after, all of our ‘non-premium’ clocks are fully serviced and in full working condition, with minor-restoration work carried out if needed!


Grandfather Clock Assembly.

Please ask for a copy of our ‘Grandfather Clock Assembly Guide,’ if you would like help with setting up your clock once it’s arrived at your home. We can attach this via email or include a copy with your Longcase Clock prior to collection.


Terms & Conditions.

Purchases other than through Ebay will require a 20% deposit, with the balance payable on or before collection.

  • Lofthouse Antiques offers a free local delivery and set-up service. More distant deliveries will be considered for a delivery charge.

  • Clocks Lofthouse Antiques deliver and set up  carry a 3-month back-to-base warranty for repair or replacement (unless local in which case we will collect)

  • All of our clocks, unless otherwise stated, are in full working order at the point of sale.

  • Clocks transported and set up by the purchaser do not carry a warranty - although should there be a problem, we will do our best to correct it.

  • Errors and omissions excepted.

We advertise free local delivery and set-up. Quite often as a goodwill gesture we will deliver further afield. All of our clocks leave the shop in working order and you can request a video before purchase.

We do not offer refunds if:

  • The customer has damaged an item by attempting to repair it themselves; or if someone else has damaged it whilst attempting to repair it.

  • The customer decides they no longer want an item due to its aesthetics.

If we deliver to you, we will set the clock up - but we cannot drill holes in your wall to screw it back due to insurance.

If you wish to organise a courier, or if you wish to collect the clock yourself, we will provide set-up instructions and will give telephone advice should you require it. However, we cannot accept responsibility should problems occur due to transportation.

We strongly advise, wherever possible, that you come to the shop to view a clock before purchasing. You will be able to see it working, and will be able to make sure it will look right for your home.
