This is an Early Victorian 8-Day Mahogany Painted Face Grandfather Clock with a Lovely Patina & Character.
The Breakarched Dial has Gilt Rose Spandrels, and to the arch, a traveller approaching a cottage.
It has a working second ring and date sector, and lovely brass ringed winding squares.
The movement is very clean and keeps good time, and rings in the hour to a bell.
The hood has spirally reeded pillars with brass cappings.
The case is an elegant rich mahogany colour and is line inland. The door also has a working lock and key.
A lovely example of an 8-Day Victorian Clock that appears to have been well loved and maintained.
