REGENCY/VICTORIAN 8-DAY PAINTED FACE
This is an imposing oak and mahogany clock, standing at almost 90” tall.
The painted dial has shell spandrels and a day/night dial featuring a cottage. The numerals are Roman. It has a working seconds hand and date aperture. The dial is in good condition.
The movement is clean and is in good working order. It has been serviced. It rings to a bell on the hour.
The hood is supported on turned pillars and has a swan neck pediment.
The trunk has turned pillars to the front. The door (which has a working lock with key) and the base have shell inlay, the base having chamfered corners.
