Here we have an elegant brass-faced 30-hour clock that dates from the late 18th century.
The brass face is engraved and has a date wheel. The numerals are in Roman with subsidiary Arabic.
The movement has been professionally restored, and is in excellent condition throughout.
The medium oak case is also in lovely order, and has aged beautifully. The flat-topped hood has brass-capped wooden pillars, and the plain trunk has a full-length door which has a lock and key.
Overall a very nice, understated example with the Characterful Charm we look for!
