This is a well proportioned, handsome clock housed in a medium-oak case.
The brass dial has ringed winding holes and a square date aperture.
The arched-top to the moon dial is engraved, whilst the dial itself has a dark background with brass stars. The spandrels are of the sun king design.
The movement has been professionally restored by John Tivey (Melbourne, Derbyshire) and keeps excellent time.
The hood has a glazed door with a pagoda top. It has fretwork to tue centre and brass finials either side.
The case is in very good condition with a lovely, aged patina and the arched door has a working lock & key.
