An Elegantly Proportioned 8-Day Clock dating back to Scotland c.1770.
Beautiful Marquetry and Inlay to the Hood and Neck, the casing having a deep patina & luster.
The hood has a latch, whilst the trunk has a lock and key.
Inside the trunk is a pencilled inscription stating the clock was repaired in the 1880s, about 100 years after it was built.
