'Peter Owen of Crediton,' Devon.

This is a simple, nicely-proportioned 30-hr George II provincial clock, housed in an oak case.

The square brass face has Roman and Arabic numerals. To the top corners are etchings of flowers whilst the bottom corners have a castle and farmhouse.

The movement is in good order and is clan. It strikes to the hour on a bell.

The case is medium oak. The hood is supported on wooden pillars with brass cappings, and it has a flat top. The trunk has a full-length door with a brass escutcheon and a working lock and key.
