This is a special clock whose provenance is Ann Tyson House, Hawkshead, Lake District; Where a young William Wordsworth lodged when at school.
It is an 8-Day Longcase Clock dating back to the late 18th Century.
The case has a deep patina with reeded columns.
The painted dial has a seconds ring and a date aperture and the movement is in exceptional restored condition, the best we have seen.
