It has a good-quality 8-day movement with a lovely 12" brass dial showing father time, surrounded by two ornate Dolphin Spandrels.
The clock has an eight day two train movement striking on a bell and is contained in a beautiful oak and mahogany veneered case. The case is in excellent condition and has aged well.
The clock hood has swan neck pediment reeded pillars, and a single eagle finial to the top.
It has been recently serviced and cleaned by us at Lofthouse Antiques and has had a light Briwax, the wood being treated also.
A lovely clock and if you like a memorable name, this might be the one!
