This is a simple provincial single-hand clock with a 10” brass dial and 30-hour movement, dating from about the 1770s.
The dial has urn spandrels and the plain case is of medium/dark oak with a full length door (with lock and key), and is in good condition.
The movement has been cleaned and serviced, and runs well.
NOTE: This is a single-hand clock which strikes on the hour, from the days when knowing the time to the exact minute wasn’t important!
